Rotary Club of Seattle Hosts Luncheon on the Opioid Epidemic

ETS Executive Director Molly Carney is featured in the Rotary Club of Seattle’s discussion around the opioid epidemic and how ETS is deploying evidence-based treatment to those who use substances in our community. Molly, along with activist Penny Legate and Dr. Caleb Banta-Green of UW’s Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute, discuss proven tactics – like medication-assisted treatment – in defeating the opioid epidemic. “Making treatment readily available and in locations where people can easily access it, is the key to [ending] this epidemic,” states Carney.
