MEDICATION FOR OPIOID USE DISORDERS

ETS uses medication to help stabilize the brain functioning of people with opioid use disorders. This treatment recognizes the effects of prolonged opioid use on the brain and helps to manage this medical condition by stabilizing brain chemistry. Once a patient is medically stabilized, they are better equipped to tackle the difficult emotional and environmental circumstances surrounding recovery. We combine medication with important rehabilitative services in our federally accredited opioid treatment program.

In addition to daily dispensed medication, the following services provide the support our patients need to boost their chances for full, long-term recovery:

  • Assessment and treatment planning

  • Methadone, buprenorphine/ naloxone (Suboxone), or buprenorphine (Subutex) medication

  • Drug screen urinalyses

  • HIV and Hepatitis C education, testing, and counseling

  • Individual and group counseling

  • Physical examinations

  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication follow-up

  • Acupuncture

Opioid Treatment Program

Hope starts here. Daily treatment services are available at our clinics in Seattle, Hoquiam, Renton, and Olympia. After beginning treatment, patients are required to come to the clinic six days per week to take their medication. Patients will also be provided with important support services including counseling and classes that will help along the way.
